Shashank is a highly accomplished senior disputes lawyer with over two decades of extensive experience in appellate court advocacy, domestic and international arbitration, and commercial litigation in India. His practice areas encompass domestic and international arbitration, commercial litigation, administrative and constitutional law, banking and finance, construction and projects, media and telecommunications, mining, energy and natural resources, corporate and commercial law, and white-collar crime.

Beginning his career at one of India’s largest law firms in Mumbai, Shashank honed his skills before transitioning to private practice. He joined the chambers of a distinguished senior counsel, where he gained valuable experience representing clients before commercial courts, arbitral tribunals, and appellate courts.

Shashank has advised and represented leading public sector undertakings, banks, financial institutions, multinational corporations, non-governmental organizations, educational institutions, and universities throughout his career. He has appeared before various arbitral tribunals, commercial and criminal courts, including the Supreme Court of India.

In 2015, Shashank led the restructuring and reorganization of RPV Legal, an esteemed law practice with a history spanning over 85 years. Under his guidance, RPV Legal transformed into a modern boutique law firm with offices in New Delhi, Jabalpur, and an affiliate office in Dubai, catering to the firm’s work in the GCC region.

Shashank’s expertise also extends to white-collar crime, where he provides skilled counsel and representation. His comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape enables him to handle complex white-collar crime cases.

Shashank’s work and contributions to the field have earned recognition within the legal community. He has been honoured as a Litigation Star by Benchmark Litigation Asia Pacific 2023 and endorsed as a recommended attorney and expert for Arbitration law in India by the prestigious Global Law Experts and Leaders in Law.
